[Someone's been pretty distracted lately. Normally peace was nothing to complain about, but in this place, well... Considering it's been oddly quiet ever since Revya had his flame stolen by one of the mermaids, he doesn't doubt in the least something's going to happen soon. Of course, knowing the less favorable ruler of this place, he wouldn't be surprised if that's just what she wanted them to think, either. Worry and paranoia were excellent for wreaking emotional havoc, after all.
But, either way, he's currently staring out at the sea as if doing so will get any answers.]

[Despite the fact that it was quite subtle, there was an oddly dark edge to his voice.]

[He's standing beside you now, following your gaze to the ocean.]

It's nothing terribly important. Just waiting to see what they're up to this time.

[He's not going to move from where he is. This is probably a mistake.]

[Surprisingly, he hasn't made his move quite yet. Probably because you would likely require quite a bit more tact. Instead, he's merely standing beside you, seeming thoughtful.]

" . . There's really no telling with them."

[There was a soft sigh, before darkened sapphire eyes pulled themselves away from the ocean to look you over.]

Which would be part of the reason it's so irritating.

[He gives the waves a glare at this, before shaking his head with a small dismissive sound. While you're enjoying the view there, you might notice he seems somewhat tense... But there's several other things that can be blamed on as well.]

...You haven't had any trouble, have you? [He really just can't help but ask.]

[He noticed you tense, moving closer to place a hand on your shoulder, rubbing it gently - seemingly just a comforting gesture. To the question, he just shook his head.]

". . . Nothing at all. What about yourself?"

[He'll allow that, but though he doesn't move away, he doesn't quite relax fully either.]

Not particularly, though I think this place is getting to me. [In more ways than one, perhaps.]

[He paused a moment in his task of rubbing your shoulders to think on this a minute.]

" . . .That's understandable. I've had the same feeling for a while now. They've been entirely too quiet since that situation with Revya's flames being taken."

[He rests his chin on your shoulder with a small thoughtful sound.]

". . . I haven't seen anything out of the normal since then though. Perhaps they have yet to work out whatever it is about the flames they were hoping to work out."

[There's a sigh offered to that.] Then let's hope they never do...

[It seems a little late for to hope for it, though. Especially when you being that much closer suddenly sets off a warning bell in the back of his mind. There's a shift first, and if you don't stop him from doing so, he'll be finishing the movement by taking a step away.]

[His tone an expression both seem to be concerned.]
