[A confused Storm Guardian has quite abruptly appeared somewhere near the fountain.]

What...the hell?

[This? This is definitely not where he was a few seconds ago. Last time he checked, Giotto's office didn't have a whole town in it, and it didn't look anything like Italy besides.]

Another dimension, that's just... [He's frowning at that--it's unbelievable, is what it is. A Mist illusion would have made more sense, if not for the sheer amount of power it would take to generate something this large and realistic.]

While I'm always happy to see him, I worry about what's going on back home if we're all here... Especially Giotto.

The Decimo? [There's a flash of surprise across his features before it slips into more of a proud smile instead.] And here Giotto was so worried about not being able to establish a strong famiglia...

Have you met the Decimo yourself? [He's curious about the type of person said Decimo is, now.]

I am also worried about the Family with only a few guardians there.

He should be able to put his mind at ease now.

[He had just been on his way towards the fountain to get a few ingredients when he saw someone up ahead. He'd almost called to greet 'Gokudera'. . . at least until he got closer and realized who it was.]

". . . Valente. . . I see you've been brought to this strange little island as well." [He was smiling, feeling rather contented by the fact that yet another member of his Famiglia was here. It was a rather comforting feeling, really.]

[He's already got a smile in place before he turns to focus on the other--he recognizes that voice all too easily.] Giotto! Aah, I seem to have had a vacation forced on me.

Bizarre occurrences aside, however, it's a relief to see you.

[His smile widened a little at that.] ". . .Well, even a Mafioso needs a bit of a vacation from time to time, wouldn't you say?"

[He paused a moment before continuing.] "It's a relief to see that you're also here. This place felt rather empty without my Guardians at my side, after all. Simply didn't feel right at all."

Of course. Though, I would prefer not to worry I've lost my mind in the process, suddenly finding myself in such a place like that. [He shakes his head, still amused.]

I wouldn't think so, considering we never give you a moment's peace, normally. [His smile softens a bit.] How long have you been here? I'm assuming time works differently.

". . . Just appearing on the island isn't the most mind boggling thing about this place, but I suppose you'll probably find this out with time. . ." [His tone was rather uncertain with that, hard to pick out any particular emotion in it. To the next comment, however, he smiled softly.]

" . . . It was ever so boring without you." [He paused a moment thoughtfully.]

". . .and I believe I've been here 2 or 3 months. . . I really haven't been keeping much track as far as time goes."

I'm not sure whether I look forward to that or not.

Not enough random explosions for you, Giotto~? [Rain and Mist were usually easy to deal with and be around. The other Guardians? Not so much.]

Months... And to think I just saw you this morning. Have you been well in that time?

". . . and I've been well enough." [. . . yes. Well, as long as you count that little fiasco he came in on as 'well', that little mishap with the Decimo's rain guardian as 'well', the whole bit with the Decimo's ~~psycho~~ trainer 'well', and being turned female also 'well'. 'Well enough' seemed to work here.]

{Yamamoto made his way through town. He was thinking about getting a real job with someone...}

[If it hadn't been for Yamamoto callng him by Gokudera's name, he very well might have mistook him for a younger Ryu. They were strikingly similar in appearance...]
